Photographs from: My Best Friend’s Wedding

If we were playing “Two Truths and a Lie”, I’d say the following:

1. Nino and Linlin have known each other since high school.
2. Nino taught Linlin how to play tennis.
3. Nino and Linlin are bf/gf for 15 years now.

If you’re not familiar with this couple, you’d obviously think that these three statements are true. But those who know them otherwise, will say the last statement is completely false.

It’s hard to explain the specifics of Linlin and Nino as a couple since I wasn’t around to see their relationship evolve. I only saw a glimpse of how they were as friends during high school and the rest were stories told by mutual friends and Linlin herself.

However, if I were to describe their relationship, it will be summed up as follows: they were NOT in a relationship. Confused? So was I. hehe. I won’t delve into details because what’s important is that they are now in a relationship for life!

That’s right, the couple who were “friends” for 15 years, finally got hitched three weeks ago!

I had the opportunity to attend their wedding. It happened on January 5, 2015, a Monday and an atypical wedding day, which is really fitting since they’re not your typical couple.

I didn’t have the opportunity to take pictures during the wedding since being part of the wedding party didn’t allow me to carry a 10 pound camera. But I managed to take some from my phone (thank you VSCo and Instagram for the editing software).
